Friday Media Group raise money for Turning Tides to give a homeless person a Christmas meal

The Friday-Ad team and the staff at the Friday Media Group in Sayers Common raised £214 for Mid Sussex charity Turning Tides and its Pull Up a Chair appeal.

They made a Christmas hamper using staff donations, which they then sold raffle tickets for to raise funds.

Lucy Knowles, fundraising manager at Turning Tides, said: “Thank you so much to all those people at Friday Media Group who ‘pulled up a chair’ around the Christmas table for some neighbours who are homeless.

"The money that was raised will not only enable our clients to enjoy a hot meal, counselling, housing advice and medical checks but also to feel less alone over the difficult Christmas period.

“It could introduce them to support that could help end their homelessness for good through our year-round services. Without your generous donation and the fantastic support of our local community, we would not be able to provide this support.”
