The work by local milliners, Francis Fifi Hats, Anais Neon, Tilly Bea and Louise Papier-mache Cousin, will be on show from June 1 to 14.

Hats cut across the boundaries of art, design and fashion. This exhibition will show hats made from unusual materials and explore a variety of hat making designs.

Francis Fifi makes hats using traditional millinery techniques and some techniques of her own she is influenced by vintage design.

Bevali, founder of Francis Fifi Hats, has been making hats for over 20 years and sold her hats around the world.

Anais Neon, aka Jane Caley, makes a quirky range of headpieces.

Tilly Bea crochets whimsical characters and woollen treats for the head.

Louise Papier-mache Cousins is a papier mache genius and has been known to make headpieces featuring huge brothel creepers, a giant teapot and even a mini welsh dresser.

Also showing will be heart inspired designs by Lorna Fraser and the demure ready to wear collection of Katherine Wallinger.

The private view, a mad hatters’ tea party is from 3pm to 6pm on June 1.
