SOUTHERN RAIL are inviting rail users to 'Go Loco' in the January Sales offering a whopping 40% off Southern Advance purchase tickets booked on-line.

The bargain-priced tickets start at just 3 for a single journey from Bexhill to London Victoria, and a spokesperson for Southern Railway said the tickets are a great way to save money and enjoy a day out:

"The shops are having their January Sales and to help our passengers get to the shops for all those lovely bargains, Southern is offering a massive 40% off Advance tickets when booked on-line. And with no booking fees or credit card charges, we're way ahead of anyone else!

"It's so simple to book tickets. Just visit the Southern website and enter your details on our easy-to-use ticket booking system.

He added: "Loco Toledo, Southern's colourful character, will be appearing in a new advertising campaign on TV, radio, on-line and posters over the next few weeks encouraging people to travel on Southern and save a whole lot of money."

Other destinations available in the offer include Brighton, Portsmouth and Milton Keynes.

The special priced tickets are available now until 28th February.
