Afternoon of folk music for Felpham group

IT was a toe-tapping afternoon for members of Felpham Village WI at their meeting on March 2 in the Village Memorial Hall.

This was due to Andrew Perry who spoke of the history of American Folk Music.

Having brought with him various guitars, the sounds of which were quite distinctive, he supported his talk by playing on them and singing samples of the variety of tunes developed by the many nationalities of America.
