Ancient ceremony for wedded couple
Local couple Phil Trainor and Lesley Butler celebrated their wedding with a traditional handfasting ceremony at the Royal Oak, Peasmarsh, on Saturday after a civil ceremony at Rye Town Hall.
Conducting the ceremony was Glenda Proctor, from Udimore, who has joined couples in handfasting at Glastonbury.
