Andrew said: “I have always been interested in aeroplanes for as long as I can remember. Then, whilst at secondary school I realised that I had a flair for art but never really took it seriously, so didn’t study it as a subject.

“It was only later in life that my interest in aviation and art combined, when I was given a set of oil paints as a present and it took off from there.”

Andrew is an award-winning aviation artist and an elected Associate of the Guild of Aviation Artists (AGAvA). He was raised and educated in West Sussex and while in college discovered a love of oil paint that now forms the backbone to most of his work.

Andrew added: “The first-floor gallery at Shoreham Airport is a unique, historic venue. Here, my aviation art can be shown at the heart of a busy airport, where visitors can step outside to see and hear classic aeroplanes alongside modern aircraft, helping to bring my artwork to life.”
