Angmering nursery site next up for large-scale housing scheme

The planning application by West End Property LLP proposes demolition of glasshouses and ancillary buildings, and removal of hardstanding areas on the existing West End Nursery site, and redevelopment of the land for up to 195 homes, with public open space and landscaping.

Arun is already considering plans for 150 homes on a site north of Worthing Rugby Club.

Other planning applications in the Gazette area in the latest list include:

ANGMERING: remove 1.82m of large branch of a Judas tree, the Old House, High Street (within the Angmering conservation area).

ARUNDEL: listed building consent application for kitchen bay-extension, with revised fenestration, 42 Maltravers Street.

BARNHAM: replacement of roof, to include attic rooms, Maytrees, Lake Lane.

EASTERGATE: remove lean-to porch and construct a single-storey extension to the rear, 73 Elm Grove, Barnham.

LITTLEHAMPTON: new garage, 1 Townsend Crescent.

Change of use from retail to hot food take-away, 10 Beach Road.

Change of use from two flats to a single dwelling, 5 River Road. Also, listed building consent application for change of use, and for the removal of kitchens and bathrooms, installation of new bathroom on first floor, installation of kitchen in basement and demolition of partition walls in extension and basement.

RUSTINGTON: removal of garage; provision of new extensions and garage, 4 Acre Close.

Single-storey rear extension, to provide enlarged kitchen and dining room and new utility room, 12 Crundens Corner.

WALBERTON: two-storey extension, Sunny Corner, Copse Lane.
