Anti-fracking protest at Balcombe drill site

The Frack Free Sussex demonstration was held at midday on Sunday (January 31).

Energy company Cuadrilla’s plan for oil and gas exploration at the site has been hotly contested by residents’ groups.

It was the scene of a protest camp in 2013.

West Sussex County Council granted permission for Cuadrilla to undertake works at Lower Stumble in May 2014.
