ARRCC Open Garden is best ever
RYE charity ARRCC’s Open Garden was a resounding success this year, raising over £1,116.00.
Irna Mortlock, from ARRCC, said: “The weather was kind and so were the generous public who came to have glass appraised by Andy McConnell of BBC 1 Antiques Roadshow fame.
“The Vintage and Pimm’s stalls were very popular, homemade cakes and savouries all disappeared rapidly. A very big thank you from ARRCC to Rae Festing for the use of her wonderful garden, Andy McConnell for his time and humour, and not forgetting all the hard work from staff and volunteers in making this local charity event the most successful ever.”
