Barby Keel opensanimal sanctuary

The Barby Keel Animal Sanctuary, Freezeland Lane, Sidley, holds its annual Open Day on Sunday August 10 - from 12 - 5pm.

The event raises funds to help keep the sanctuary afloat.

Despite recovering from a recent heart attack Barby was determined that the show would go on. “We’re keeping up with tradition and my helpers have been absolutely brilliant. We want to raise as much money as we can.”

Along with the opportunity to look round the sanctuary and see all the animals and fowl, there will be various games, refreshments, raffles, and bargains galore. Entrance is £2.
