Beggars rob elderly woman of £20
HEARTLESS beggars robbed £20 from the flat of an elderly Mayfield Way resident.
A woman and a man knocked on her door asking for change before stealing the cash at about 1pm on New Year's Day.
The woman is described as 20 years old, slim build, about 5ft 6in tall, dark hair tied in a pony tail, wearing a brown coat.
The man was white, in his 20's, about 5ft 8in tall and wearing dark clothing.
