Bid for Miranda and Save Our Hospitals

MIRANDA the Tatty Teddy has become the latest supporter of the Keep Worthing and Southlands Hospital (KWASH) campaign.

The lovable teddy desperately needs a new home '” and her creator, illustrator and cartoonist Mike Payne, thought what better way to find her new parents than by auctioning her off in aid of the KWASH campaign.

He has even signed and dated her paw, making her a real collector's item. And the highest bidder will be presented with Miranda by Mike himself in the mayor's parlour at Worthing Town Hall.

The mayor, Tom Wye, said: "Mike is a real supporter of the KWASH campaign and has designed the Nurse Sunshine campaign logo.

"He was present at the recent Worthing Pier Day and handed over the bear to auction off for the campaign. The money we make will go straight into the KWASH coffers."

If you would like to make a bid for Miranda, please send an email to [email protected] with the amount you would like to bid, your name, address and telephone number. The auction will close at Midday on Monday, October 9.
