Blaze struck scouts receive more Priceless help

Another shop in the community has offered support to the stricken 9th Bexhill Scout Group.

Priceless Shoes have been raising funds and taking pledges for the cause.

They are appealing for essential equipment and funds towards building costs. Members of the 3rd Scouts have been helping customers in the store in exchange for donations.

Nearly 100 has already been raised.

In addition, staff have been seeking extra contributions from customers and local businesses.

Priceless Shoes manager Mark Feakes said: "The staff have been brilliant and everybody has pulled together. We are really trying hard and it feels like the community has joined together to help. It was quite a shock when we saw those pictures in the paper.

"I used to be a scout myself, so it really brings it home to you.

"The scouts have been excellent; bringing out shoes, helping customers and helping to stack the shelves. The public have responded with their donations."
