This could include preventing falls, benefits entitlement and accessing practical help services such as cleaning and shopping, but direct personal care is not included.

Team members recently joined the falls prevention team in Bognor Regis High Street to offer information and advice on how to stay steady, independent and active for longer.

John de Mierre, county council cabinet member for adults' services, said: "The day was a huge success, the team offered information to more than 100 people, covering a variety of subjects.

"In addition, a member of the falls prevention team replaced 20 worn out rubber feet from walking sticks people had been using.
