Bognor history society's annual general meeting

The history society's annual meeting took place on January 18.

The committee was re-elected after no nominations were received for new members.

Questions from some of the 140 members present included one about a

possible relocation of the museum.

The Observer has reported that the town council is seeking to turn empty premises at the railway station into a 1m museum.

A slide show was given by museum curator David Jennings after the formal part of the meeting.

The museum '“ at 69 High Street '“ re-opens this year on April 4 with a

number of new displays.

Its opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday and bank holiday Mondays from 10am until 4pm.
