Buckswood business students hit the city

Hectic trading floors in the City of London provided a baptism of fire for business students at Guestling’s Buckswood School.

A group of eight Buckswood students spent time at the London Academy of Training, commuting up every day and getting a firsthand taste of life in the fast lane.

The one week course is designed to give individuals an intensive experience as to the roles, responsibilities and divisions within the finance, banking and trading sectors.

The Buckswood students who took part were; Robert Ward, Ben Williams, Lancelot Roudilion, Tim Eichmuller, Baris Ege Uysal, Salem Shammakh, Diren Ege Gulsen and Santiago Salamanca Jumenez.

They received a hands-on introduction to financial markets from experienced traders and technology providers During the week-long programme the students had training and access to trading software and real-time data.
