I would like to congratulate Mary Hayes for organising the great evening for the Parish Assembly last week. She invited clubs and societies of our communities to have a table in the village hall to promote the things they do. It was certainly a great success. It was good to see so many people had taken the time to visit the meeting and to meet new people to the village. I also made personal contact with most of the groups and wil now hopefully be able to bring you more news of what is happening in our three villages.

A new club is about to emerge in the Pavilion at Burwash Common. The Rummicub club. This is a fun game that is played at the table. If you have not played before then you have missed a great game. Played with numbered tiles it is a game of making runs. To find out more about this game and the club they hope to form, please call Halina Keep on 01435 882183.
