Camera company invests in Burgess Hill store

Since its opening in 2008, thousands of customers have visited the award-winning independent photographic retailer Park Cameras.

The company has now redeveloped the Olympus area of the store.

The area was officially opened by Olympus National account manager Sean Smith on Saturday.

A spokesman for Park Cameras, said: “It is now easier than ever for customers to try the latest products at Park Cameras’ innovative store.

“Every part of the old Olympus area in the store was completely rebuilt, and is now not only visually stunning, it has been designed in such a way that it is now easier than ever for customers visiting Park Cameras to try out the Olympus range of products.”

A range of accessories are displayed to show how photo kit can be enhanced with additional lenses, flashguns, and cases.

The store provides a technical expert from Olympus UK on many weekends to help answer any queries.

He brings latest products before launch, such as the E-M5 Mark II or the recently announced SH-2.

Store manager Chris Reszke, said: “This area of the store has made it even easier to show off the impressive range of cameras and lenses available from Olympus, so that they can test the functionality before making a purchase decision.

“I think that it is extremely important that our customers can physically try the kit out for themselves, and combined with our knowledgeable staff, we will help them find the right product for their needs.

“We have also recently replaced over 3,600 square feet of the store floor to further enhance the customer experience so we hope that you like that too!

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank customers for their patience during the refurbishment project and apologise for any inconvenience it may have caused.

“However, I trust that our customers, both old and new will agree that it has been worth it!”
