Chairman... Thefts ripped out my heart

THIEVES who targeted Ferring Village Hall twice in the last few weeks have left the chairman of the village hall committee feeling like his ‘heart has been ripped out’.

Electronic equipment, including projectors, blu-ray players and a laptop belonging to groups who use the hall, were stolen.

Paul Webster said: “It was as though my heart had been ripped out. I was absolutely devastated, to think people could sink so low as to break in and do all the damage to the local community.”
