Charters Ancaster youngsters fun run success

Led by PE Teacher Susie Casebourne were Year 6 pupils Georgina, Louisa, Max and Oliver, with Jack and Alexandra from Years 4 and 3 respectively. With past pupils Zak and Isabel also there, the group gained medals in the 500m and 1000m classes.

Parent Diane Cheeseman said: "It was a glorious morning and parents and pupils were delighted to get involved in this local event.

"Zak and Oliver gained second and third places in the 1000m race.

"Mrs Casebourne is no stranger to local races, including top ten results in recent Hastings Half Marathons, and in the last three months she has completed two triathlons, gaining top places in her age group and overall."
