Chimney fire at Ashington bungalow
Firefighters were called to reports of a chimney fire at an Ashington bungalow on Saturday afternoon (December 7).
A crew from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the property in Alicia Avenue just before 4pm, and extinguished the fire using a hose reel and specialist chimney equipment.
Advice was also given to the occupier.
