Concerns over missing Barnham man

A BARNHAM bird watcher has been missing since Sunday (January 10).

Police are becoming increasing concerned for the welfare of Brian Henry Keates, 61, who left his Market Close home at 10.30am, and has not been seen since.

A spokesman for Sussex police said: "Mr Keates regularly uses buses and trains for transport, is well known in the Bognor area, and he is also a keen ornithologist.

"Concerns are growing due to to his ill health."

He added that Mr Keates, who is described as 6ft 3in tall, bald and of a stocky build, and is believed to have been wearing a green wax jacket, black jeans, a dark blue sweat short and black shoes, was last seen by his brother.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Mr Keates, or thinks they may have seen him, is asked to call police on 0845 60 70 999, quoting serial 1087 of 10th January.
