Burgess Hill woman arrested in drink/drive crackdown

A Burgess Hill woman has been arrested as part of Operation Dragonfly, Sussex Police’s crackdown on drink and drug-related driving across the county.

According to a police statement, Marie Mitchell, 45, was arrested at 3.20pm on Sunday (June 8) after her car was stopped in Deadmantree Hill, Cooksbridge.

Mitchell, of West Street, Burgess Hill, was charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on July 24.
