Court results - Horsham

Elana Jones, 19, of Benson Road, Henfield, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, and a £180 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to possessing a bladed object in a public place.

David Pass, 32, of Henfield Road, Cowfold, was banned from driving for a year, with a £350 fine, a £35 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at West Grinstead.

Richard Grundy, 54, of The Grattons, Slinfold, was given a community order with six months of alcohol treatment, and fined £50, with a £150 criminal courts charge, and a £60 victim surcharge. He had pleaded guilty to theft from Boots and from Marks and Spencer in Horsham, and to failing to answer bail.

Kathryn Venning, 48, of Blenheim Road, Horsham, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £40 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer.

David Streeter, 30, of Crawley Road, Horsham, was banned from driving for a year, with a £120 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving and to driving without a licence at Bewbush.

Jade Whitney, 22, of no fixed address, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Horsham.

Nicola Wortsman, 33, of Wilton Road, Redhill, was jailed for 16 weeks, with an £80 victim surcharge, and a £180 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to seven counts of theft from shops in Crawley, Burgess Hill, Horsham, and Lewes.

Michael Larter, 41, of Plovers Road, Horsham, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence.

Stephen Buss, 48, of St Leonards Road, Horsham, was given a community order with a £60 victim surcharge, £625 costs, and seven penalty points added to his licence. He had been found guilty of common assault, driving without due care and attention, causing criminal damage to a car, failing to stop after an accident, and failing to report an accident.

Justin Searle, 39, of Church Farm Walk, Upper Beeding, was banned from driving for 18 months, with a £120 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath alcohol specimen.

Richard Matthews, 46, of Brighton Road, Lower Beeding, was banned from driving for a year, with a £425 fine, a £43 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Pease Pottage.

Oliver Willard, 20, of Cowfold Road, Bolney, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £90 costs, and a £520 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of being the keeper of an uninsured vehicle.

Andrew Goldsmith, 28, of Wantley Hill Estate, Henfield, was fined £660, with £215.42 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Daniel Lock, 31, of Sullington Copse, Storrington, was fined £140, with £48.34 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Ramon Dias, 53, of Park Avenue, Ruislip, was fined £1,280, with a £120 victim surcharge, £135 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding in a Lamborghini at Broadbridge Heath.

Adrian Foxall, 46, of London Road, was fined £1,190, with a £119 victim surcharge, £130 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been found guilty of speeding at Albourne.

Jamie Russell, 24, of Birches Road, Horsham, was banned from driving for 18 months, with a £120 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving without a licence at Crawley, and admitted breaching a suspended sentence.

Raymond Harding, 45, of Forest Grange, Horsham, was banned from driving for three years, and given a community order with 120 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Horsham.

John Emerson, 76, of Earlswood Close, Horsham, was banned from driving for three years, with a £300 fine, a £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving, and to driving without insurance at Horsham.

Nigel Ward, 59, of Cresta Drive, Woodham, was fined £900, with a £90 victim surcharge, £150 costs, and five penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at West Grinstead.

James Fitzgerald, 48, of Valley Road, Leiston, was fined £180, with a £20 victim surcharge, £200 costs, a £520 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been found guilty of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at Bolney.

Martin Kingsley, 46, of Darlands Drive, Barnet, was fined £335, with a £34 victim surcharge, £150 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Bolney.

Lee Holdsworth, 28, of Goodenough Way, Coulsdon, was fined £250, with a £25 victim surcharge, £350 costs, a £520 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been found guilty of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at Bolney.
