Both are described as white, aged in their 20s, of thin build, and around 5ft 5in to 5ft 10in.

One was wearing blue jeans and a grey hooded jacket

Detective Sergeant Sally Arbuckle said; “Fortunately her wounds were only superficial and she did not seek medical attention, but it was most distressing incident and she was very shaken. We think the two would-be robbers were put off by the presence of a couple passing nearby and we would very much like those people to come forward, as well as anyone else who can help with information about what happened. Please call us via 101 quoting serial 0394 of 2/7.”
