Darren Van De Weg, of Alinora Drive, Goring, was fined £923 and must pay £5,435 compensation, £93 victim surcharge, £1,049 costs after admitting, being a trader, contravening Unfair Trading Regulations by selling a Ford Escort which was unsafe and had previously been two cars that had been welded back together again.
D K Garage & Classic Ltd, of Link Farm, Pulborough Road, Wiggonholt, also admitted contravening Unfair Trading Regulations with regard to a Ford Escort, which was unsafe and had previously been two cars that had been welded back together again.

Hide AdThe court said no separate penalty was imposed on D K Garage & Classic Ltd because the offence was linked to Van De Weg, the director, and he was prosecuted in his own right.
Allan Simpson, of Rodney Crescent, Ford, was fined £60 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit on the A24 Worthing on May 30, 2019. His driving record was endorsed with four points.
Victor Moraru, 28, of Longford Road, Bognor Regis, was fined £660 and must pay £66 victim surcharge, £300 costs, after being found guilty of driving without insurance in Longford Road, Bognor Regis, on June 1, 2019.
