Police swoop on A24 after reports of dangerous driving

Police swooped on the A24 near Horsham in a search for people reported to be ‘driving dangerously’ in the area.

The National Police Air Service helicopter was also deployed in a search for the drivers at Broadbridge Heath at around 9.35pm on Monday (October 11).

A spokesperson said a vehicle was later found abandoned on the road.

"Officers carried out a search of the area, assisted by the National Police Air Service helicopter, however there was no trace of any suspects,” he said.
