Three arrested over vandalism rampage

TWO MEN and a woman have been arrested in connection with a spate of vandalism in Littlehampton and Wick.

Police believe stones were used to smash the vehicles’ windscreens, late on Sunday (January 16) and into the early hours of yesterday, with the first reports being made at about midnight.

Cars parked in Manning Road, Fullers Walk, Clun Road, Gloucester Road, Holmes Way and Courtwick Lane were targeted, and police are keen to talk to any witnesses.

Three people, two men aged 34 and 27, and a 34-year-old woman, who were stopped in a car nearby, were arrested by patrolling officers at about 1.35am yesterday.

They have been released on police bail until February 14.
