Celique Energie’s application for a temporary well near Northup Copse south of Kirdford Road was due to be heard by West Sussex County Council’s Planning Committee at Horsham’s County Hall North tomorrow (Tuesday July 22).

But the decision to postpone the decision was made late on Friday evening following the submission of extra information in relation to the application by the energy company.

WSCC highways officers had raised an objection to the proposal and as a result the recommendation from officers had been to refuse the application.

However Celtique supplied additional information on Friday afternoon that will need to be processed and considered before the application goes before the committee.

No date has been set yet for when this might happen.

Tomorrow’s WSCC Planning Committee meeting will go ahead as planned.
