ADUR could be set to get another fast food outlet after one of the country's biggest pizza firms admitted it was looking to expand into the area.

Domino's Pizza '“ which has more than 500 stores in the UK and Ireland '“ has confirmed it is looking to open a new outlet in Lancing or Shoreham.

Andy Emmerson, the company's business development director, described Shoreham and Lancing as "vibrant" communities and said research showed there was plenty of demand for the Domino's home-delivered pizza service.

Mr Emmerson said the firm was keen to open a new store in Shoreham or Lancing, adding: "This will not only support significant investment in the local economy, but could also create between 25 and 30 full and part-time jobs for local people.

"Each of our stores is owner-run by a local entrepreneur, which helps us to remain in touch with the needs of both customers and the surrounding area.

"As well as making a positive contribution to the local area through a range of community initiatives, this allows us to closely monitor issues such as litter, traffic and noise levels to minimise any impact on our neighbours.

"Domino's prides itself on being a responsible operator, which means local landlords secure a quality tenant with long-term security.
