Eastergate Primary School gets new sensory garden

A solar-powered water fountain and a chamomile lawn are the new star features for Eastergate Primary School's sensory garden.

Children, parents and staff joined forces to create the eco-friendly project which has been winning plenty of admirers.

It has been designed with a helping hand from the RHS, which proved an inspiration to pupils in selecting a broad range of fragrant plants for the scheme.
