FATAL ACCIDENT - WITNESSES PLEA
A pedestrian died this morning in an accident with a car near Heathfield.
At about 6.45am on the A267 at Butchers Hill, Five Ashes, a Ford Focus car was in collision with a female pedestrian who died fromher injuries.

The road was closed by police for investigations and traffic was diverted through narrow country lanes.
