Federation meets to plan for small businesses
MARY Varrell, Liberal Democrat PPC for Bexhill and Battle, visited the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) 1066 liaison meeting held at the Hastings Centre recently.
The meeting was set up by the FSB to create links with the local authority.
A meeting has been held with Hastings Borough Council which has resulted in a working party being set up. It is planned to hold meetings with Rother District Council in the new year.
Mrs Varrell, pictured with FSB chairman Brett Mclean, said: "It is important to observer how the local business organisations operate with other organisations for the benefit of our traders."
