Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Twilight trilogy, Titanic - all possible contenders for floats at this year's Bexhill Carnival.

The theme for 2010 is Films which will no doubt provide plenty of inspiration and ideas for costumes and decoration.

The Carnival Procession will be on Saturday July 24 and is the colourful and noisy highlight of that celebratory weekend.

The committee has chosen the charities which are to benefit from this year's street collectiont - Homecall, the local befriending service for the blind and partially-sighted, 'Make a wish' for children with cancer, and Little Common Playgroup.
