Helping those 'most at need'

A strategy to help homeless people around Bognor Regis is being planned.

An update on the proposals at a time when many household budgets are under severe strain was given to the latest meeting of the Arun local strategic partnership (LPS) of more than 300 bodies from the public, private and voluntary sector.

LSP chairman Hilary Spencer said homelessness was an important issue which needed to be tackled.

"We are hopeful the new strategy will combat this problem and put strong plans in place to help those most in need," she said.
