Highest honour for Littlehampton Rotarian

LITTLEHAMPTON Rotarian John Mitchell has been awarded the movement’s highest honour for dedicated service to the Littlehampton club across 40 years.

Having joined the club in 1973, he has served on all its committees, was president in 1985/85 and is due to take that role again in 2014/15.

For the past 10 years he has arranged speakers and produced the quarterly programme card and annual members’ directory.

John grew up in the town and continues to work for the family firm C. Mitchell & Sons, supplying Rotary members, schools, companies and other organisations with polo shirts, sweatshirts, jumpers and tabards.
