Horsham shop celebrates its first year in the town centre

Taking shape, in Horsham’s Carfax, celebrated its first anniversary at the end of last month.

To commemorate this success the store offered customers some cake, a glass of Champagne and a special discount. The clothes shop held their party on Saturday August 30 and invited members of the public to join in with the festivities by giving them a drink and some nibbles whilst they browsed the store.

Angie Maskell, personal stylist at the store, said: “It is fantastic. We are very pleased to have achieved it. I think it is wonderful and I am very very happy to be a part of this company. Long may it continue.”

The shop which sells clothes from size 14 to 26, opened its doors in late August 2013 and the was first of its kind in the UK.

One year on the it has become the pioneer behind the rest brand with its success leading to 20 more shops being created across the country.

Angie said: “There has never been anything like this in the UK before. There is a really relaxed atmosphere. You are offered tea and coffee when you come in and we can talk about the clothes as we work.”
