Horsted Keynes roof damaged in fire

A roof was damaged after a light fitting caught fire in a Horsted Keynes house yesterday (Wednesday May 14).

Firefighters were called to a bungalow in Birch Grove at around 10.45am.

Around five per cent of the roof space was damaged.

The effected areas were cut away and the electrics isolated and salvage carried out.
