Hospice Christmas Card Appeal

Hospice spokesman Sue Farndale said: "Instead of sending individual cards to friends or colleagues met frequently, we invite everyone to write their own greeting in a large card which we will provide.

"It is then possible to include everyone within the group/organisation (without forgetting anyone) by signing the card. We will also supply a collection box so that everyone can contribute to the appeal by making a donation to St Michael's Hospice of the money they would otherwise have spent on individual cards.

"This appeal was first started 11 years ago by Gareth Brown. Local dance clubs, schools, offices and church groups have given their support in the past and we hope that more may be willing to join this year."
