Judo Success for Amateur Athletic Club

Two youngsters from Bexhill Judo Club have been selected to go to Bath Universities World Class Judo center to attend a residential High Performance Judo Program.

Tuesday Logan and Amber Russell are among a select group of six from across the whole of East and West Sussex invited to attended the course.

The program is designed for Judo players with the desire, drive and potential to become world class Judo players. Tuesday and Amber will be training with Bath Universities Judo team, and although they are much younger than the rest, Sussex Judo Coach Dave Wright feels they can both cope with the physical and mental requirements.

The course is run by Olympic Coach Roy Inman OBE (8th Dan) who has coached 7 World champions and Jurgen Klinger (6th Dan) who is the former German Olympic Judo Team Coach.

Tuesday is 13 years old and a pupil at Bexhill High School, while amber is 14, and attends The Grove in St Leonards.
