Lions give community transport scheme a lift
To raise funds for Rye and District Community Transport, Rye and District Lions are holding a fund-raising event this Saturday.
It will be a coffee morning and afternoon tea in the garden of 11 High Street, Rye, next to Adams, by kind permission of Rae Festing.
Admission is free and it takes place in this beautiful hidden garden in Rye from 10.30am until 4.30pm. In addition to the coffee and tea, there will also be light lunches and books, cakes, produce, plants and nearly new clothing for sale.
There will also be a grand raffle. Over the last three years Rye Lions have already donated a total of £2,000 to Rye Community Transport.
