Littlehampton Shopmobility up for top award

Littlehampton Shopmobility has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award for its outstanding performance.

The group has been named in the final six for the Tom Hillier Award out of 216 entries from shopmobility schemes nationally.

Chairman Alan Gammon said: “Littlehampton Shopmobility is proud to be shortlisted for this prestigious national award and hopes are high for a win at the awards ceremony in London, hosted by the British Healthcare Trades Association and presented by broadcaster Bill Turnbull.

“We were excited to be nominated by our clients. To be shortlisted is brilliant, to win would be amazing.

“Our staff and volunteers work so hard to provide an excellent service this recognition for that would be a great pat on the back for them.”

NFSUK Shopmobilities up and down the country entered the awards to show how they go above and beyond for their clients.

Not only do they hire scooters and wheelchairs to anyone who needs it, but also offer a safe place to talk, a social meeting spot, tea and biscuits and much more.
