Lorry driver in death crash

A NEWHAVEN lorry driver was involved in a head-on crash with a woman who was pulled dead from the wreckage by her firefighter son.

Stephen Coe, 48, of Lewes Road, was on the A47 in Norfolk on Tuesday last week when he collided with a minibus. He was treated at the scene for shock.

Shiralee Hammond, 43, was killed in the crash.

In an tragic coincidence her son Jason, who was one of the fire crew from Dereham Fire Station in Norfolk, was called to the accident.
