A major West Sussex road which was closed this morning (Thursday) after a tree fell onto a power line has now reopened.

Part of the A283 Washington Road in Storrington was shut both ways between the B2139 School Hill and Sullington Lane.

Fire crews, police and UK Power Networks were at the scene. But the tree has now been removed and the road reopened to traffic.
