Man's body found by walkers at Angmering

WALKERS found the body of a man in countryside on the outskirts of Angmering yesterday afternoon (Thursday, January 21).

The body was found on farmland between Rectory Lane and Decoy Wood, shortly before 4.50pm.

Police and an ambulance crew were called to the scene. There were no apparent external injuries to the body, and police are not treating the death as suspicious, pending the results of a post-mortem examination, which has yet to be arranged.

It's thought that the man, in his 30s, is from the Angmering area, but his body has yet to be formally identified.
