Children’s dress designer’s charity fashion show comes to Farlington

The beautiful setting of Farlington School is the location for a Fashion Show for a local children’s dress designer on Wednesday 18th March.

Tracey Edwards, owner of Molly Coddle Childrenswear, a childrens clothing company who brings her clothes age newborn up to seven years to the Horsham Carfax Market every Thursday. Many of the designs are hand cut, handmade and hand finished using quirky fabrics which are sourced from around the globe.

The fashion show is a charity event in aid of Beat (charity raising awareness for eating disorders) and aims to promote positive body image.

Molly Coddle Childrenswear prides itself on quality, durability and individuality. Tracey’s designs have many loyal customers both locally and much further afield.

She said: “People appreciate well made imaginative designs, It is important to me that the range of clothes has something to suit all tastes and has a WOW factor”.

Feedback so far on the new Spring fabrics has received much praise especially the British seaside theme which is going to be very popular - beach huts, nautical anchors, sea shells and even mermaids are available.

Tracey is excited about the collaboration with Farlington Fashion Week and says the Fashion Show will be a great location to launch the new Spring 2015 Molly Coddle collection.

Raising money for Beat to promote positive body image is such a fantastic beneficiary because the fashion industry is where many people look for body image inspiration.

Farlington is based near Horsham in West Sussex. It is an independent day and boarding school providing an excellent all-round education for up to 400 girls aged 3-18 with a co-educational Nursery.

Tickets are £5.00 each and include a free gift bag. All money goes to the eating disorder charity Beat.
