Costs not clear

It is obvious that the contract considered by the Coastal West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group will save money, but at what cost to the paying public?

I note that some of the staff will be employed by Bupa C.H.S. Ltd. Their employment should be monitored, in case of redundancies there.

The use of private sections of the NHS is not in keeping with the spirit of the NHS as it was when it was started, and private firms are for profit, no matter what is said by anyone. I may be ignorant about the matter, but that is what I think.

As regards any threat to the accident and emergency department, I think the number of people who respond to the petition in the Littlehampton Gazette will show how interested the people are about our services.
