A proven winner for keeping children entertained, these fun drop in events will run in Squire’s Garden Centres (excluding Chertsey) from Tuesday 26 – Friday 29 May, between 9am – 12pm.

Youngsters will be taught how to create their own tasty vegetable box with peppers, lettuce and tomato plants to take home and enjoy for just £5.00.

Children can also take part in free activities – a Word Search, and a Veggie Hunt around the garden centre. They will receive stickers on completion, and have the chance to win a prize!

Sarah Squire, Deputy Chairman, Squire’s Garden Centres comments: “We understand the importance of keeping children entertained over half term so we always strive to put on activities that will inspire little ones to get creative and get gardening.

“With Spring in our midst, it’s a great opportunity for children to start growing their own vegetables and watch their progress over time. Children will no doubt see the fun in eating their own greens!”

‘Create & Grow’ Half-Term fun activities are run on a first come, first served basis – while stocks last. Adults must accompany children.
