Easter raffle sees ASK Italian edge closer to big fundraising target

The team at ASK Italian Horsham have raised a grand total of £230 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity by raffling a giant, 2kg traditional Italian chocolate egg this Easter, with lucky Adam Glew drawn as the winner on Good Friday.

The raffle is part of ASK Italian’s on-going national fundraising pledge to raise £1 million for the hospital, which will go towards the new Surgery Centre, due to open in 2017.

“Our fundraising makes a real difference – and we’re grateful to all the customers who helped us raise so much money this Easter,” says restaurant general manager Duncan Tarrel.

Sarah Norris, Account Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity said: “We’re really grateful to ASK Italian for their continued support. The new surgery centre will include a brand new kitchen, dining and play areas for patients and their families from across the UK.”
