Excellent variety

I WOULD like to say how good it is that in Mewsbrook Park we now have a catering concession that actually supplies the needs of the users of this park.

An excellent variety of hot and cold food is cooked freshly to order in front of you, as well as a full selection of hot, cold and iced drinks.

Very competitively priced too!

Perhaps the biggest plus was that so many of the community used these facilities on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Yes, that’s right, the owner said he’d be fully open 365 days a year and he was true to his word.

And to those who were drinking Champagne there on Christmas morning (I understood they brought their own as the concession is not licensed), may I join you in 2012 on Christmas morning?

It seemed like you were enjoying the festive spirit most amicably, indeed.

Finally, well done to the council for sourcing a professional caterer who so obviously wants to work hard at making his business successful for himself, but also for the community at large. May he go from strength to strength.
